Welcome to the Our Playful Learning Journey blog!

I'm an Australian Early Years Teacher/Leader + former Assistant Principal with 15+ years experience working in Australian Primary Schools.

I'm also a mum of three amazing girls - who are the inspiration behind this blog 🥰

I started this blog to share my LOVE and passion for all things play, creativity and learning. I write about the things I do at home with my own children - 'Our Playful Learning Journey' to help inspire and empower others on their own journey!

Small World Play Ideas - Simple things I did differently to invite more play!

One small world invitation ... still getting play after 1 month. As I write this blog post my girls are playing with the small world table, adding in animals to create a much larger small world. Open-Ended Play Shelves - Our Current Play Space Set up

I recently changed up what was on our open-ended play shelves in our play space for the first time in a little while, so I decided to write a blog post about what we currently have out on our toy shelves.
