The type of learning experience that feels effortless, as it is so natural to the child … (and in our opinion the best way to develop a true love of learning!)

Creativity
We believe that creativity is a superpower that each of us has!
We nurture our children's creativity by providing time for them to create and express themselves in their own unique ways.

About Me
Hi I'm Danica!
I'm a mum of three beautiful girls known here as Miss 9, Miss 6 and Miss 2. We are an Australian family of 5 (including my husband too!).
I’m an early years teacher + former assistant principal.
I started this blog to share my love of all things learning and play.
On this blog I share the things we do at home together:
'Our Playful Learning Journey' to help inspire and empower others!
Experience/Training
My experience:
I have over 15 years experience teaching/leading the early years of primary school and love using this knowledge and experience to help my girls at home. Watching them grow and learn has taught me so much and is the inspiration behind everything shared on this blog.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
Masters in Educational Leadership
Other training/Interests:
Passionate about open-ended play, learning in the early years, social-emotional learning, loose parts play, art and creativity.
Trained in teaching mindfulness and meditation to children.
